Largely taken in simple two-person play format, the story depicts a man
who has lived in solitary world, his love and the loss. Quietly pitched
narration and clean minimalist cinematography carry the poetic pace of
the film.
Sensitive expressions and the sheer beauty of Rie Miyazawa, as well as
the photography-like pictures, are the fans' favorite points in this film.
Nominated in Foreign Film category of Independent Spirit Awards in 2005.
